Lucky this is the "real" housewives, because if you made this stuff up, no one would believe you. The glazed look in the women's eyes. The permafrost of their Botox and DermaFill. And no wonder they are all so thin - they have so much to worry about! The stress of constantly judging each other and being judged; of deciding what to wear and where to go, who to schmooze and who to cut. What no one seems particularly worried about are their wan, anxious children, with their schedules and the weight of their parents' ambitions and neuroses. It is creepily compelling, but it will depend on your mood whether you find it so bad it's good, or just horrifying.
